Justin Bieber: Purpose World Tour April 22-23

One of the hottest pop stars in the business is returning to the Allstate Arena for 2 shows that will surely entertain.  Justin Bieber has been performing since 2008 and has already accomplished so much at such a young age in his career, including a few run-in’s with the law that made him an easy target for tabloids.  But after his latest album’s success and the support from his clan of Beliebers, it appears that the pop superstar is turning things around & improving his image.  He definitely hasn’t lost his ability to put on a spectacular show.  Reviews from earlier stops on the tour have been positive, even fathers who attended with their teenage daughters have been impressed regardless if they like Justin’s music or not.  Lasers, smoke, pyrotechnics, indoor rain, trampolines, dancers, acrobats, skateboarders & a wardrobe of 90’s grunge shirts gives this concert everything it needs to compete with any other tour this year.

The Purpose Tour consists of 64 shows over the course of 5 months, and that’s just the US dates!  Add 50 more International shows and that totals over 9 months of touring with a concert almost every day, I’m exhausted just thinking about it.  Justin recently canceled the remainder of the pre-show meet & greets with fans so he can be at his best for the full tour.  The Prince of Pop said that the pressure of living up to his fans’ high expectations can leave him exhausted & emotionally drained before shows.  After his announcement, he’s been trying to involve the audience as much as possible on tour by shaking hands with fans in the front, bringing them on stage to dance & even letting a few lucky ones fix his man-bun hairdo that can come undone.  During a show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, he lay down at the edge of the stage while singing one of his slower songs to serenade the fans in the first few rows.
